Designed for the General Accounting Department originally in 1994 and with several revisions until 2012, this application saved the department days of reconciliation work by processing out the non-matching exceptions to a bank balancing process peformed monthly. When done by staff the process was taking every bit of 25 days to complete the over 80,000 pages of bank statement and other report entries. When done by RECON the process took all of 25 minutes to find and present to the user the exceptions or unbalanced entries that require research and handling.
